These General Terms and Conditions define the access rules for the Cocoon® application. Cocoon® provides a technological platform designed to facilitate communication, organization, and daily management for separated parents.
By using the Application, you accept these Terms of Service without reservation. Users acknowledge that they have read, understood, and accepted all of these rules upon creating their account.
Access to the Application is restricted to individuals aged 18 and older who possess the legal capacity to enter into contracts. You officially declare that all information provided is accurate and truthful.
To use the Application, users must provide accurate information, protect their login credentials, and keep their account strictly personal. You assume full responsibility for all activity associated with your account.
Certain features share your data with a co-parent. By activating these tools, you explicitly authorize the co-parent to view specific information. Cocoon® operates as a neutral tool and does not monitor interactions; each user assumes full responsibility for the data they share.
Users agree to use the Application in compliance with applicable laws and in the best interests of the children. Harassment of any individual and the publication of offensive content are strictly prohibited. Misusing the Application or attempting to access another user’s account will result in immediate sanctions.
Users communicate freely through the Application. You bear sole responsibility for the content you publish. While Cocoon® does not exercise systematic monitoring, our team will remove any inappropriate content. We reserve the right to suspend your account for non-compliance with these rules. These exchanges are retained for security purposes but do not guarantee legal standing or validity.
Parents or guardians provide all information regarding children. You must limit this information to what is strictly necessary to respect the privacy of minors. Users agree to handle this data with care and without any form of abuse.
The Application may provide informational content or external links. These resources are provided for informational purposes only and do not replace professional advice. Cocoon® acts exclusively as a visibility platform. When you hire a professional, you enter into a private contractual relationship directly with that provider.
Cocoon® owns and protects all elements of the Application, including its design, logo, and features. Any reproduction or use without our prior written authorization is strictly prohibited.
We offer paid features through monthly or annual subscriptions. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through your App Store or Google Play account. All transactions are processed securely via Stripe.
Cocoon® makes every effort to ensure a reliable service. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or an error-free experience. Access may be suspended occasionally to perform required maintenance.
To the extent permitted by law, Cocoon® disclaims all liability regarding your personal decisions or family conflicts. We assume no liability for indirect damages, such as loss of data. Professionals listed on the platform independently guarantee that their practice complies with the rules of the Barreau du Québec or their respective professional order.
Our team may suspend an account or restrict access in the event of abusive behavior. Users retain the right to delete their account at any time.
Our Privacy Policy outlines how your personal information is managed. This document forms an integral part of your agreement with Cocoon®.
We review these Terms of Service periodically to adapt them to our services. In the event of a major change, you will be notified immediately.
These General Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the judicial district of Montreal.
