Cocoon® is a co-parenting mobile application designed to simplify management, communication, and scheduling for separated families, while centralizing the essential resources they need throughout their life transition.
Who is the app designed for?
The application is currently available across Canada. Designed to support separated or divorced parents, this solution adapts seamlessly to the specific needs of single-parent and blended families.
Is the App free?
Enjoy a 14-day free trial period to discover the app. In fact, you can start completely commitment-free, because no credit card is required. Once this period ends, you can benefit from rates of $1.99/month or $19.99/year. Therefore, a message indicating that your trial has ended will be displayed in the app. Then, you can simply click on the subscription of your choice (monthly or annual) and you will be redirected to the Stripe payment platform.

How to create an account?
You can create an account using one of the following methods:
- Use an email address and password.
- Sign in securely with an Apple or Google account.
I forgot my password, what should I do?
If you have misplaced your login details, simply click “Forgot password?” on the sign-in screen. Then, follow the instructions sent to your email to reset your account.
Can I modify my personal information?
You can update your data at any time by simply going to the Profile section of the application.
How to delete my account?
To permanently delete your account, choose one of the following:
- In-app: Go directly to your application Settings.
- By email: Reach out to support@gdmlsolutions.com to have our team process your request.
App Features
How Does the Calendar Work?
Simplify your co-parenting logistics with a dedicated, secure calendar. Adding events is fully customizable: you can configure dates, recurrence, and categories to match your children’s needs. Real-time notifications ensure both parents stay perfectly synchronized with every updates. Parents can also organize a one-time custody exchange by pressing the green button (arrows icon).
The “Memories” feature (symbolized by the star icon) allows you to instantly notify the other parent during meaningful milestones. These precious moments remain highlighted directly on your dashboard with photos.
Finally, the Cocoon® Calendar maintains a complete barrier from your third-party calendars (Google, Apple), ensuring maximum security for your private life.
How does the Expenses Work?
Cocoon® eliminates manual calculations and overlooked costs with a smart expense tracking system and payment receipts. Adding expenses is simple: just enter the amount, category, and recurrence based on the children involved. The application automatically filters and breaks down this data for complete traceability.
Management stays fair thanks to automated calculations based on your income percentage or a 50/50 split. You also stay informed in real time with payment notifications and a weekly reminder of outstanding balances. Finally, the dashboard ensures total transparency by clearly displaying the global balance between co-parents.
How Does the Messaging System Work?
CocoonTalk offers a messaging system focused entirely on the essentials to foster peaceful communication. This instant messaging space is designed exclusively for your children’s organization. To maintain absolute clarity, the tool focuses solely on text messages, excluding photos and documents.
All your conversations are automatically saved to ensure exemplary traceability and security, providing you with a reliable history of your exchanges at all times. Finally, you maintain total control, with the ability to enable or disable the feature in your settings.
How Does the Resources Section Work?
Our directory centralizes organizations and professionals rigorously selected for their expertise in separation, co-parenting, and family breakdown.
Two smart search modes:
- By theme: Use tags to filter resources by keywords (e.g., mediation, mental health).
- By proximity: Filter results by radius (km) to find a professional near you.
An expert network: Access a network of official members (lawyers, mediators, therapists, social workers) specializing in the reality of separated families in Quebec.

Can I Invite Another User to Cocoon?
The application is designed to ensure total transparency between parents. You can invite the other parent at any time to synchronize your management tools.
Two ways to invite the coparent by sharing a clickable link:
- Upon registration: For an immediate setup for both co-parents.
- Via your Profile: To send (or resend) an invitation later.
Automatic data synchronization: As soon as the co-parent accepts the invitation, essential information is shared to ensure a common ground:
- Family profile: Children’s names.
Security and Privacy
Is My Data Shared with Third Parties?
The protection of your privacy is the foundation of our commitment. That is why your personal data is never sold or shared with unauthorized third parties or other users. As a member, you remain the sole owner of your information and control every visibility setting within the interface. Subscription and Payments
How Does the Subscription Work?
The monthly or annual subscription grants full access to all application features, including the calendar, expense tracking, messaging, and resources.
Downloading Cocoon® includes a 14-day free trial, with no credit card required to sign up. At the end of the 14 days, Cocoon® will stop functioning. To continue using the app, simply complete your monthly or annual subscription payment through the App.
Can I Cancel My Subscription?
You can unsubscribe at any time:
- Management: Directly through your App Store or Google Play account.
- Access: Your features remain active until the end of the current billing period.
- Expiration: No new charges will be applied after your subscription end date.
What Is the Refund Policy?
Current subscriptions are non-refundable. However, you maintain full control over your account:
- Flexible cancellation: Cancel your renewal at any time before the expiration date.
- Guaranteed access: Enjoy full access to all Cocoon® features until the end of your current billing period (monthly or annual).
